Base King self-adhesive carpet base for finishing walls. 4 inch high carpet baseboard. Adds that special finishing touch to your walls. Use as an alternative to vinyl cove base. 29 different colors available.

Easy Instructions For Installing Carpet Base:

	Step 1: Remove the protective covering from the end of the carpet base and expose 18 to 24 inches of adhesive at a time. Position the carpet base to a starting point and firmly press the carpet base onto the wall. Secure the end by using a rubber mallet or regular hammer to tap directly over the adhesive strips.
	Step 2: Gently stretch the carpet base as you apply it to the wall *(Make sure that the carpet base is meeting the carpet on the floor). Press firmly* with your hands.
	Step 3: Secure the carpet base to the wall by rubbing the carpet firmly with the flat part of a hammer. Tapping lightly will also secure the adhesive. Cut the carpet base at the desired length. Base King carpet base easily cuts with a utility knife or heavy duty scissors.

Notes:

Inside Corners: Install the carpet base into inside corners using a screwdriver.
Outside Corners: For outside corners, carpet base easily wraps around the corner.
Ends: The ends need special attention. In most situations, a small finishing nail or brad will be sufficient to keep the carpet base flush. On concrete walls, use a hot melt adhesive or contact cement (if necessary).
