Johnsonite 996 Two Part Epoxy

Johnsonite 996 two part epoxy adhesive is formulated for the installation of wheeled traffic transitions on surfaces where environmental and health concerns require an adhesive with environmentally sensitive characteristics. This 2 part epoxy glue is solvent-free and contain no hazardous or carcinogenic ingredients as defined by OSHA, Federal or State Agencies. Purchasing the Johnsonite 996 two part epoxy, you will receive 2 containers combined for .92 gallon: part "A" and part "B".

Johnsonite Two Part Epoxy Adhesive Highlights:

Johnsonite 996 Application Instructions for Wheeled Traffic Transitions:
  • Mix all of part "B" into part "A" and mix thoroughly until smooth and uniform in color
  • Mix for another 3-5 minutes. Adhesive will not cure if not properly mixed
  • Immediately after mixing, apply to substrate using a 1/16 inch square-notched trowel
  • Carefully position and install the molding. Use a J-Roller and hand roll the molding to ensure proper adhesive bond
  • Avoid traffic for at least 12 hours after installation
  • Avoid cold or excessive heat, including direct sunlight during installation
Two part epoxy adhesive cannot be removed when dry without damaging floor surface. Remove we adhesive with a clean cloth dampened with Isopropanol, mineral spirits, or acetone.
