Flexitions Flexible Floor Transition - Stainable Threshold
Flexitions transitions Flexible Threshold profile is creative alternative to transition from wood to carpet. Flexitions transitions come unfinished and stainable, allowing you the flexibility and creativity to match them to your hardwood floor stain. The Flexible Threshold profile is one of five different profiles available from Flexitions transitions. These unique products were developed for use within hardwood and laminate floor applications, and are ideal to use when dealing with a curve, arch or a radius installation. Use to coordinate and transition flooring products such as wood flooring, laminate flooring, tile, vinyl, stone and more. Constructed of molded polyurethane foam.

Flexitions Transitions Staining Instructions:
- If needed, open grain with 150 grit sand paper.
- With cloth, apply oil based stain in desired color to these stainable floor transitions. The faux wood grain will take stain like actual wood.
- Gently wipe off excess stain with cloth.
- Let stain dry for 15-20 minutes.
- Install flexible threshold with liquid nails or construction adhesive.
- After flexible threshold is installed, apply clear coat to molding. Use a polyurethane based clear coat.
- No track of any kind is required for installation.
- Please note that Flexitions can be a temperature sensitive product. If in a cold climate, product may become hard. Simply place in direct sunlight or use hair dryer to warm the product to a malleable temperature.
