A Flexitions floor transition is a sensible way to transition between laminate and hardwood flooring, as its formulation is flexible and stainable. This Flexitions floor transition comes in three different wood grains / textures, allowing you total creative control over your flooring installation. Flexitions are an aesthetically-pleasing alternative to plain metal floor transitions, and allow you to install a curved transition or solve specific installation challenges. This Flexitions floor transition comes unfinished and stainable, allowing you the flexibility and creativity to match them to your hardwood floor stain. Use to coordinate and transition flooring projects such as wood flooring, laminate flooring, tile, vinyl, stone and more. Constructed of molded polyurethane foam.

Flexitions Floor Transition Staining Instructions:
- If needed, open grain with 150 grit sand paper.
- With cloth, apply oil based stain in desired color to this floor transition. The faux wood grain will take the stain like actual wood.
- Gently wipe off excess stain with cloth.
- Let stain dry for 15-20 minutes.
- Install flexible molding with liquid nails or construction adhesive.
- After flexible molding is installed, apply clear coat to flexible molding. Use a polyurethane based clear coat.
- No track of any kind is required for installation.
- Please note that Flexitions can be a temperature sensitive product. If in a cold climate, product may become hard. Simply place in direct sunlight or use hair dryer to warm the product to a malleable temperature.
