Carpet to tile transition joins 1/4" thick carpet to your 1/8" tile or other resilient flooring. Burke Mercer transitions meet ADA requirements for change in level and carpet-edge trim compliance. This carpet to tile transition also meets the requirements for OSHA and Class 1 Fire Rating (ASTM E-648).
Burke Mercer transitions are made of a high quality thermoplastic vinyl. This carpet to tile transition is a slip-resistant surface that will stand up to heavy traffic areas. Maintenance is simple, just clean with a mild soap and water. Burke Mercer transitions don't require any polish however if desired you can use a liquid floor polish for a glossy shine.
This carpet to tile transition is easy to install. Simply glue down with transition adhesive. Burke Mercer Transitions are sold in 12 foot sections and be cut to size on site. Our customers can order as many of the 12 foot sections they want. No need to buy the standard full box of 25 sections.
